In the school of life we do experience failures from time to time. Not too long ago I was reading a short chapter on responding to failures. Below are some Scriptures and quotes from that short chapter.
It is good to deposit these words into our hearts and minds so that we can put any failure in a proper perspective.
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure, than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much because they live in the great twilight that knows not victory or defeat."
"Experience is hard teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterwards." ---Vernon Sanders
"You don't drown by falling in the water, you drown by staying there." ---Ed Cole
"The best way to go on after a failure is to learn the lesson and forget the details." --- John Mason
"A man who refuses to admit his mistakes can never be successful. But if he confesses and forsakes them, he gets another chance." Proverbs 28:13 (TLB)
"The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighted in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand." Psalm 37:23-24
